Andrew "Andy" Reid (born July 29, 1982 in Dublin) is an Irish professional footballer who currently plays for Sunderland. He usually plays left side of midfield but can also operate in the centre of midfield. Reid was signed by Charlton for a fee worth 4m. He made his Sunderland debut against Wigan where he came off the bench to set up Daryl Murphy's 30-yrd screamer. He then went on to score his first goal for the club against West Ham United, which was a last gasp winner in the 96th minute.
