David Jonathan Healy MBE (born 5 August 1979 in Killyleagh) is a professional footballer who currently plays for Sunderland. He wa brought in by ex-Manager Roy Keane in the Summer of 2008. Since his arrival at the Stadium of Light, he has struggled to get into the 1st team and has been restricted to just 3 Premier League appearences thus far (Scoring 0), though did manage to score in the League Cup tie with Nottingham Forest (on his Debut).
