Added by Sunderland06Jimmy Montgomery (born 9th October 1943 in Sunderland) is a goalkeeping legend for Sunderland A.F.C., most commonly remembered by Sunderland fans for the remarkable double save again Leeds United in the 1973 FA Cup final.

As well as playing or Sunderland he played for Birmingham City and Nottingham Forest where he played as an understudy for the great Peter Shilton and was an unused substitute in the 1980 European Cup winning team.
