Jonathan "Jonny" Evans (born 2 January 1988 in Belfast, Northern Ireland) is a Northern Irish football central defender who currently plays for Manchester United. He has had two previous loan spells at Sunderland in the 2006/2007 season and the 2007/2008 season. Evans went on to push into the Manchester United first team following his spells at sunderland.
