Michael Liddle born (December 25 1989 in London) is a London born Irish player who currently plays for Carlisle United on loan from Sunderland A.F.C.. He has featured for Ireland at u18, u19, and u21 levels.

playing as a left back, Liddle is a product of the Sunderland Youth system and made his debut in a pre-season friendly in 2008 over in Ireland. He joined Carlisle in November 2008 in order to gain some first team experience.
