Phillip "Phil" Bardsley, (born 28 June 1985 in Salford, Greater Manchester) is an English footballer. He currently plays for Sunderland A.F.C having been signed for 2m from Manchester United. He made his Sunderland debut against Birmingham in which he was very impressive.
