Stern John born (October 30, 1976 in Trincity, Trinidad and Tobago) is a footballer who plays as a striker and a former Sunderland A.F.C. player, featuring in the 2006/2007 season and briefly during the 2007/2008 season. Stern John arrived at sunderland in the january transfer window of 2007 for a fee of £200,000. In his first season he scored four goals for sunderland with two of them being against Southend F.C. In the next season Stern John scored a last minute premier league equaliser against Birmingham. This being his last ever game and goal for Sunderland before he left for Southampton with Kenwyne Jones going the other way, ironically at this point of the season he held the premier league record for a striker having the most international goals, with 67 for his country.
