Trevor Carson born (March 5 1988 in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland) is sunderland's fourth choice and reserve goalkeeper, as well as a Northern Ireland U21 international.

Although he made his Sunderland debut in the pre-season of the 2009/2010 season, Carson has still not played a competitive game for sunderland, the nearest he got to a competitive first team game was as an unused substitute in Sunderland's 2-1 victory over Fulham in 2006.
